How do I activate my included Connectivity Package?

  • Open FordPass
  • Follow the steps to connect your vehicle
  • Tap Profile icon (top right-hand corner)
  • Tap Connected Services
  • Tap “Activate Now” under the Ford Connectivity Package tile

What features are included in the Connectivity Package?

  • Wi-Fi® Hotspot (for up to 10 devices)
  • Entertainment (karaoke, games)
  • Video and Audio Streaming
  • Connected Navigation/Google Maps
  • Voice Assistant
  • Video Conferencing

Available connectivity features and functionality vary by model. Package pricing, included plan durations, and term lengths also vary by model. Some features may only be available while vehicle is parked.

What is the one-time purchase for the Connectivity Package?

Connectivity Package is available as a one-time purchase, with no additional monthly plan required, extending to a minimum of 7 years. The one-time purchase option is available at point of sale through your dealer or when ordering a new vehicle on the ford.com website. The one-time purchase option is not available post-sale.

If I don’t select the one-time purchase, am I still eligible for an included year?

If the one-time purchase option is not selected at point-of-sale, your included year of the Connectivity Package can still be activated in FordPass. Credit card and auto-renew consent are required for activation. FordPass Rewards points can also be applied to the purchase. When the included year ends, the customer will be billed annually.

Can I cancel my auto renew or plan?

  • Included Period: During the included 1 year period, you can opt out of auto-renew at any time.
  • Annual Plan: If you are paying for the annual plan, you can cancel within 14 days of activation and receive a 100% refund. After the first 14 days, you may still cancel at anytime, but your purchase will be non-refundable.
  • One-Time Purchase: If the package was activated as part of a one-time upfront purchase, cancellation is not available.

What happens to my Connectivity Package when I sell my Ford?

The Connectivity Package is tied to your specific Ford vehicle model. Included and paid plans cannot be transferred or applied to any other Ford you own or may purchase.

Upon selling your Ford, the vehicle is master reset and the package is cancelled within 14 days. If you made a one-time upfront purchase, the package stays with the vehicle for a minimum of 7 years from warranty start date after a master reset.

Does master resetting the vehicle cancel my included or paid plan?

Master resetting your vehicle does not immediately cancel your plan, but the plan will cancel automatically after 14 days if you do not take follow up action. After master reset, if you’d like to keep your plan, you must reauthorize your same VIN’s vehicle modem, to your same FordPass account.

Does removing my VIN from FordPass cancel my included or paid plan?

Removing your VIN from FordPass automatically cancels the Connectivity Package included or paid plan.
